Best 4 Slice Toaster
As the story goes on the invention of the electric toaster is a couple in nineteen thirteen were walking down
the street and saw a ‘toaster’ in the store window. It would hold two slices of bread and it would toast that bread
on one side by the use of electric coils. The bread was turned by hand for the other side to be toasted. The Mrs.
asked her husband isn’t there a way he could invent one that turned the bread automatically? Lloyd and Hazel
Copeman were the first to have a patent on the automatic toaster in nineteen 4teen and the rest is history.
Although the toaster has only been around for about one hundred years, people were ‘toasting’ the bread for
thousands of years. One reason was to preserve the bread and to make it crunchy and quite tasty. Through the years
the toaster has developed into what we use today. There are two slice toasters and 4 slice toasters. Some have
larger slots for bagels and English muffins; others are just plain old toasters. There is an ongoing argument as to
which is the best 4 slice toaster.
Some say the best 4 slice toaster is the KitchenAid KMTT400, it has 4 slots, it does toast evenly, not more
burned toast on one side and not toasted on the other side. It also has different browning settings. It can even
toast bagels in the slightly larger slots and some say it is extremely easy to clean. It has an all metal design
and comes in red, stainless steel and black. The price is a bit expensive, starting out at around one hundred
dollars. It is a bit bulky and takes up a lot of room on the counter.
There are so many different toaster manufactures out there; it is difficult to choose which one would be the
best 4 slice toasters. The entire best 4 slice toasters come with a cancel button, as it helps to have better
control over the toasting. When wanting to stop the toasting, just hit the cancel button and the toast will pop up.
Although a 4 slotted toaster is great, especially with large families they are not always so great. Inasmuch as the
middle slots do not seem to toast the bread as well as the outside ones do. But remember not all are that way. One
will have to do a bit of research to see which ones will toast all of the bread at one time.
Many think the digital toaster is the best 4 slice toaster there is, no matter who makes it. It usually has 4
long slots instead of the 4 short ones. They also say all 4 pieces of toast comes out perfect every time. They have
a timer panel that allows you to choose which darkness you want for your toast. It would seem logical that the
toast would come even all the time, as there are really two slots, but makes 4 slices of toast at the same
time.
